After spending some time with the LORD today, I feel the urgency in my spirit to speak to the Body of Christ about our current status. As believers in Christ, we have to account to Him for how we spend our lives: our time, our resources, and our talents, and as most of us know, we all have a calling on our lives that must be pursued through the Holy Spirit.
As one who functions in the prophetic, the last three to five months have been heavy with intense warfare. I know some Christians do not feel comfortable with or get involved in spiritual warfare, believing it to be scary or strange. What we may fail to realize is that every time we pray sincerely with godly motivations and intentions, we are involved in that warfare whether we beieve in it or not.
What I have sensed for the last few years is a strong call for believers to rise up and renounce the enemy’s intrusion into their lives through his traps, plots, and accusations, and use the authority Christ gave us through His atoning blood to bind the enemy at every turn.
The devil wants us to feel and mostly believe that we are helpless and hopeless in the situations we live in and around. But God’s word shows us a very different picture. Jesus spent three and a half years showing and explaining to the his Disciples the power and authority they had through him. Many, many times we read of the miracles and wonders that were wrought at His hands and His words, but do not respond to the same situations and trials of life as if we do not believe that God’s Word is true.
As children of the Almighty God, we have certain rights and authority given to us at salvation that we fail to exercise or to believe even exist. As Paul states in Romans, “God forbid!” We fail to follow the truth of the Word of God and gain freedom from that which binds us up and controls us. Instead, we sink into sadness, sorrow and drpression. Jesus admonishes us to rise up child of God, and put the devil in his place, expel him from your life, and forbid him to steal the blessings of God that are intended for you! Often times “we have not because we ask not”! Many times God is waiting for us to get our eyes off the natural world and on the spiritual world and agree with His Word! It is time to get up, grow up, and move up! To do this, we must become mature, bold, Christ-centered men and women of God who speak His truth to equip the Body of Christ and to save the lost. If we speak under His anointing, the harvest will be great! Rise up, Body of Christ and take your rightful place in God’s Kingdom, for we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. It’s time to advance the Kingdom of God for His glory! Amen!
